Browse the open air Artist Market in the shade of giant trees. Enjoy the sounds of bands and singers on the big stage. Bring your children to the Kids Area. And grab lunch, a snack, and a beverage from one of our local food vendors.
Interested in architecture? Kirkwood has a diverse collection of building styles from classic Victorian cottages to craftsman bungalows to modern lofts and everything in between! Some of our best homes will be showcased on the Tour of Homes.
Admission to the festival is free. It is held in Bessie Branham Park and the surrounding areas. Tickets for the Tour can be purchased in the park at the festival or in advance at several local businesses. All proceeds go to benefit the Kirkwood Neighbors Organization, a local 501c3 non-profit group dedicated to community improvement.
Visit the many adorable shops, unique galleries and amazing restaurants that are making Kirkwood a destination location! A variety of businesses in Kirkwood will be participating in the stroll which will enable you to sample wines from around the world in each of the 21 participating locations in Kirkwood. You will receive a souvenir wine glass and program with each ticket that is purchased. Tickets are limited and may sell-out in advance.
The battlefield is actually in the neighborhood where people live and work and play today. The event not only includes the event of remembrance but also fun for everyone including: a Gala Dinner, a 5K run, Van and Walking Tours, a re-creation of the Frontlines with Re-enactment Soldiers and artillery, a Civil War to Civil Rights Tent with civilian re-enactors, historic music concerts and dramatic performances, shopping and dining in East Atlanta and Kirkwood and more!!
